Everyone is Cute to Someone

“You know when you see a gorgeous boy on the street and you say to your friend, “Look at him!” and then your friend makes a face like, ugly? We all have such totally varied tastes that someone is going to look at you and think, yum-yum dee-lish, no matter what you think you look like. You just have to learn to see what they see. ”

A Selfish Love

“Love is Kind”

“Love is Joy”

Love is Selfless.

With love, though comes its mate. Its match. Its darling.

And To be loved. That is ‘I.’

To be loved is greedy.

To be loved is lonely.

To be loved is desperate.

To be loved.

To be the center of someone’s universe.

To be the one they call first.  And last.

To be thought of.

To be treasured.

To be missed.

To be remembered

To be kissed. Not just as a kiss, but as the kiss.

To be the final lover.  The final date. The final crush.

To be their ‘one and only.’

To be the one they can’t get over.

To be the one they gaze at and can’t look away from.

To be the one that makes them stumble over words.

To be the muse behind the painting. The memory before the poem. The spark within the book. The note that caused the song.

To be the one they lie beside when life has come and gone.

To be the one they’ll never leave.

To be the one who gets their love.  To be loved.

Each of us desperate.

Lonely.

Greedy.

Each wanting to be loved with the love of legends.

After all. . . . .

Love is loyal.

Love is faithful.

Love is gentle.

Love is precious.

Love sees no flaws. Love finds no faults.

Love is kind.

Love is joy.

Love is selfless.

To be loved . . . . oh . . . . to be loved.

Closeness

“There will come a day when you find someone who makes your burdens lighter.  The person who takes all your concerns, pressures, and heartaches and makes them somehow smaller and more insignificant.  They make you feel happier and more hopeful, encouraged.  Hold onto that person — that is a true and worthy love.”

Happy “Leap Year”

In Scotland, it was required that a woman who was thinking of taking advantage of the leap year privilege must let her intentions be known by wearing a scarlet flannel petticoat. The edge of the petticoat must be clearly visible in order to give the wary male a sporting chance to get out of the way. This is obviously a man-made rule.

Broken Hearts are Broken Hearts ~ No Matter Size or Age

“Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion a child’s loss of a doll and a king’s loss of a crown are events of the same size.”

The Better Person Hidden Inside

heart by DevannDeSousa

“Heart” by Devann De Sousa

And finally I twist my heart round again, so that the bad is on the outside and the good is on the inside, and keep on trying to find a way of becoming what I would so like to be, and could be, if there weren’t any other people living in the world.
